:: Overview ::
Reporting to the Financial Manager, our client is looking for a cost analyst with 2 or 3 years experience, ideally in the manufacturing field. The ideal candidate will have experience with variances, financial and costing analysis.

Our client is a world's leading premium drinks business with an outstanding collection of beverage alcohol brands across spirits, wine and beer categories. The company is trading in over 180 markets around the world.
:: What You Will Do ::

Reconciliation of general ledger accounts for maturing and liquid stocks for multiple sites;
-
Monitor, invoice and reconcile Intercompany transactions;
-
Manage subledger interface to SAP and perform accounting for liquids and maturing stock;
-
Perform the month-end close exercise;
-
Ensure compliance and provide timely reporting on all control and governance guidelines;
-
Journalize variances, accruals and corrections in the ledger;
-
Investigate, analyze and follow-up on issues with various stakeholders;
-
Assist and support as required in ad hoc analysis.
:: What You Will Bring ::

Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting;
-
Possesses or within final stages or working towards a professional accounting designation (CMA/CA/CGA);

2-3 years cost accounting or financial analyst experience preferably in a manufacturing environment;

Strong knowledge of multiple platforms systems (ERP knowledge an asset);
-
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills;
-
Strong understanding of Balance Sheet and P&L structure, general accounting principles and internal control principles;

Strong ability to manage an interface between 2 systems;

Basic knowledge of complex product costing and factors influencing variances;

Proven ability to work in a team environment within a matrix organization;

Solid communication skills with a demonstrated background in dealing with all levels of management in multiple groups.
