:: Overview ::
Reporting to the Financial Reporting and Analyst Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly and quarterly forecasts as well as various analyses. The candidate will be communicating with all levels of management both local and within U.S. The candidate will need to demonstrate the highest levels of organizational skills, thoroughness, attention to detail and accuracy.

:: What You Will Do ::

Budget process - preparing and analyzing the annual operating budget and the five year strategic plan with other finance team members and submitting the data through the budget system;

Forecasting monthly/quarterly profitability/sales and expense levels and analyzing trends;

Financial accounting including month-end accounting close, GL account analysis & reconciliations, preparation of monthly management reports/charts;

Updating and maintaining the local financial model (excel);

Various ad hoc projects/financial analysis.

In this position the incumbent must effectively communicate with all levels of management, both local and U.S.
:: What You Will Bring ::

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Major in Finance.

MBA or postgraduate accounting designation, an asset.

Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in finance.

Excellent analytical skills, combined with solid business experience/acumen.

Strong computer skills – advanced level in Excel.
-
Detail-oriented, very well organized and a good team player.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to self-manage, adjust to rapidly shifting priorities and deliver projects with tight deadlines.
