:: Overview ::

Our client is looking for a Boutique Manager for their Toronto office. This is an exciting opportunity for a career-oriented candidate to learn all components of the company’s business and drive growth in the Espresso/single-cup machine category. You will manage the daily operations, leading and managing the team of Coffee Specialists by reinforcing the fundamental values of the brand: high class, service and efficiency. You will be a passionate ambassador of the company message by making their products preferred coffee systems. Please note that this will be a temporary 12 month assignment.


:: Our Client ::

Our client is a provider of premium quality coffee and espresso machines.


:: What You Will Do ::

  • Achieve with the team the daily, weekly, monthly sales and service level targets set for the boutique.
  • Maximize capsule, accessories and machines sales in the boutique.
  • Lead the team by example in servicing and selling to customers all aspects of the product system.
  • Proactively manage escalated customer interactions/complaints.
  • Recruit and train the team.
  • Motivate and coach the team to provide exceptional customer service in keeping with the company’s premium image and positioning.
  • Leverage the competencies in the team by optimizing the deployment/utilization of resources according to the peaks and lows of operations.
  • Implement Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines for the boutique operations and ensure that the team understands and complies with them.
  • Collect cash and organize appropriate transfer per procedure and abide by cash collection procedures and monitor their application.
  • Manage monthly/quarterly physical stock inventories and place weekly orders.
  • Facilitate weekly/monthly reporting.


:: What You Will Bring ::

  • University degree (Hospitality management school a plus).
  • 5-7 years Retail Selling & Service experience; luxury boutiques experience a plus.
  • 2 + years credible experience in managing/supervising people/teams.
  • Knowledge of planning, organizing and controlling for retail operations.
  • Knowledge of coffee (products, accessories, machines etc would be an advantage).
  • Excellent Presentation, Communication & Interpersonal Skills.
  • Strong Team leader and player.
  • Proactive and responsive to anticipate and fulfill customer needs.
