:: Overview ::

Responsible for the communication and implementation of our client’s policies and programs covering the manpower planning/recruitment, employee/labor relation, pension and benefit administration, organizational development, succession planning, recruitment, compensation administration, performance management, and shared services which are in support of company strategic business objectives such as ISO, BTIP or OSHA.


:: Our Client ::

Our client is a world-leading manufacturer and service provider for the transport industry. They serve a diversified international clientele. Their vast line of goods includes transport-passengers as well as integrated transport systems.


:: What You Will Do ::

  • Reviews and coordinates the company employment, employee / labor relations, personnel, and equal opportunity policies and practices to comply with the applicable provisions of federal and state labor laws, including the maintenance of necessary files, etc. Directs the preparation for and represents the company in collective bargaining, contract negotiations, contract administration, grievances.
  • Coordinates with the HR Advisors the communication and coordination of Performance Management Process to insure that employee performance is evaluated, that employee aware of their performance, development needs required to effectively support organizational objectives as well as succession planning evaluation.
  • Ensures the development and implementation of training programs, which support company business objectives, this includes new-orientation; communication programs, employee survey, and career counseling are conducted efficiently throughout the sites. Ensures that training programs are recorded and employees are certified within their respective occupations.
  • Oversee employment activities, assuring that properly qualified employees are recruited for company positions. Oversee all ISO audit, insures compliance to our client’s manual.
  • Prepare and be accountable for budget of human resources operations. Supports all sites on special projects, replaces HR Advisor while on vacation or authorized leave. Assist Director on special assignments such as mobilization projects or site openings.


:: What You Will Bring ::

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with 5 years in a Management position level;
  • Manufacturing or related industry experience an asset;
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required;
  • SHRM Certification;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • SAP and Microsoft are required computer skills;
  • Travel required to various sites. Replacement of Site Advisor while on vacation or leave required.
