:: Aperçu ::

Our client is looking for a Sales Specialist, Major Accounts - Western Canada, whose scope will include the account management and solution selling of end-to-end service solutions, cash logistics service to select commercial customers in Western Canada. These activities are critical to the development of relationships with key operations, loss prevention and procurement personnel to increase and protect revenue within the assigned geographical area. The opportunity to increase baseline revenue is contingent upon the success of individual to sell additional service solutions to National and Regional accounts in addition to supporting the VP Strategic Partnerships and Support Services. The Sales Specialist will mentor and support the business development activities for local Account Executives in designated territories by understanding the customer’s needs. :: Vos responsabilités ::

  • To acquire a minimum of $1.0 million in new contract revenue annually.
  • Achieve annual sales objective by developing strategic account business plans, Utilize the CRM program for sales forecasting and pipeline opportunities, conduct strategic account meetings with existing customers.
  • Respond to RFP’s, develop relationships with Operations Team to protect core revenue with existing accounts and prospect new revenue on a regional level to generate core plus revenue and increase profit margins.
  • To renew all customer contracts 90 to 180 days prior to the expiry date.
  • Work with Commercial Sales Manager and Operations on a regional basis to ensure pricing information is acquired and submitted a minimum 90 days prior to the contract expiry date. Increase the service rates based upon the term of the contract agreement, internal operating costs and market conditions.
  • Review Outstanding and Unsigned Contract Renewal report on a monthly basis to ensure action plans are established to be proactive with the renewal process.
  • To achieve a minimum 99% customer retention level with the assigned territory.
  • Establish and build relationships at all levels with the organization through Senior Management Team, Operations, Loss Prevention and Procurement using the Solution Selling Process.
  • Present new and innovative service solutions and service level agreements that address specific customer needs.
  • Explore the opportunity to become the sole source service provider by aligning customer growth plans and delivering a level of service excellence.
  • Participate in the budgeting and planning process by forecasting monthly sales revenue, conducting market analysis, reviewing service level agreements and projecting the impact of new and existing customer developments on the organization.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans for top 10 Commercial accounts as outlined in the annual business plan.
  • Report, Record and communicate market developments / trends in the CRM program that will assist with establishing the sales and marketing strategy.
  • Report competitive activities to the Commercial Sales Manager and V.P. of Strategic Partnerships & Commercial Sales who could be affected by these events.
  • Complete month end report and participate in monthly conference call and semi-annual sales meetings.
  • Assist the Commercial Sales Manager and V.P. Strategic Partnerships & Commercial Sales with special projects and the mentoring of new associates.
  • Provide mid-month sales forecast, new business development and outstanding contracts updates by the 15th of each month.
  • Submit monthly business development activity sales report in a timely manner.


:: Qualifications & Compétences ::

  • University, College or previous sales experience with a minimum of five years business-to-business service industry experience.
  • Strong Communication skills to respond to customer RFP within a timely manner and provide value added serviced solutions that focus on the customer need.
  • Must exhibit a high level of customer service that will maintain the base line revenue, acquire incremental revenue and solidify customer retention by selling additional cash logistic services. Strong computer skills such as Microsoft office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and wireless e-mail communication.
  • Travel will be required based upon the scope of service coverage and customer requirements.
