:: Aperçu ::
Our client is looking for a Director, Proposal Writing/Communications who will be responsible for the writing of tailored proposal responses, and working with client service teams to develop their proposal responses according to the prospects expectations.

:: Vos responsabilités ::

Write and edit proposals and develop tailored proposal documents which answer specifics requirements.

Assist the client service teams in understand the clients’ needs and challenge in the development of proposal strategies
-
Aggressively manage the proposal process within the required timelines.
-
Leverage other National Shared Service departments (i.e. Research, Industry Marketing, etc.) to reach proposal objectives in an efficient manner.

Ensure that proposal document meets RFP requirements
-
Provide direction to Creative Services on the development and integration of graphic inputs throughout the production process.
-
Remain current on all proposal amendments and modifications, and ensure that the proposal is updated accordingly using quality grammar and content.

Oversee the printing process and delivery of proposal documents with support from Office Services.
-
Assist in the preparation of oral presentation materials as required within proposal opportunities.

Lead internal debriefs of proposal opportunities

Be an active member of the National Proposal team.
:: Qualifications & Compétences ::
-
Minimum 10 years of experience in proposal and business writing, experience would be an asset in proposal writing positions with professional services organizations in which business development support skills are required.

BA/BS degree in English and/or Journalism or other related field.
-
Capacity to work effectively within deadlines, short time frames and long hours; must be a quick study and self starter, who is able to work with little day-to-day supervision and to utilize sales and marketing network to add value to internal client groups.

Superior organizational and project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple, disparate projects through completion, working with subject matter experts in tailoring value propositions.

Excellent interpersonal skills, energetic and proactive approach with ability to communicate effectively with people and interacting with a wide range of professionals at every level of the organization.

Ability to quickly gain a solid understanding of our client’s line of business, identify leading practices, communicate progress and resolve issues with a track record of providing advice in proposal situations.

Advanced proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to create and modify styles in Word; knowledge of project management software and organizational chart design software is an asset.
